Enhanced ordering reduces electric susceptibility of liquids confined to graphene slit pores

We show that the confinement of solvents to thin 2D layers (e.g. between carbon nanotube or graphene films) can greatly enhance the ordering of the molecules, leading to dramatic changes in their electrical properties than can affect the resistance of the carbon nanomaterials.
