Macromolecular Materials Laboratory

Biography

Mark received a MSci in Physics with distinction at University College London,
where he also participated in the groups of Prof. Ian Robinson and Prof. Alexander Shluger as a summer student. With the guidance of Prof. Shluger, he wrote his thesis on finding stable 2D macromolecular nets on a crystal surface using a Generic Algorithm.

He completed the first year of his CDT PhD Programme at the University of Cambridge, receiving an MPhil degree in Scientific Computing with distinction. Since then, he has been working within Prof. James Elliott's group to develop an efficient and accurate polymer network simulation protocol, where MD simulations and graph based approaches are combined.
