We hope everyone had a great summer. We would like to welcome a new MML group member: Dr Cesar Miranda-Reyes.
Dr Cesar Miranda-Reyes studied his master and PhD degrees at the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy in University of Cambridge. He worked on the synthesis of carbon nanotubes and on the characterisation of the transport properties of CNT-based materials. Particularly the thermoelectric properties of CNT films and fibres.
At the MML group, Dr Cesar Miranda-Reyes will be working in a joint project with KACST exploring the incorporation of CNT fibres into membranes for water desalination.
